added month "number" to month dropdown, made month/day order in task editing an option via user preferences; american versus international.

streamlined the top menu, made it more context-sensitive, and more readable. streamlined directory listing, and added the "highlight" feature, so "today's" tasks will pop out at the top of any task screen you're looking at. made the "month" a dropdown. made "mass delete" ask for confirmation. changelog added.
