All about skwerms--origin of the name, and what it's here for...
I made a list (and checked it twice) -
idea scraps all laid out nice
for later.
I took my list (and pondered it) -
and scratched off things that didn't fit
for later.
when later comes, I'll take a line
and ponder it (attack with mind),
an' if creation should occur I'll wipe it out
for later.

Skwerms the name/domain was originally intended for a project that never happened. All the obvious names like todo.com, to-do.org, todolist.net were taken (or just seemed kinda lame), and I happened to have "skwerms.org" lying around, gathering dust, and... it just sorta clicked. I'm really good at pounding square pegs into too-small round holes.
I've been keeping random todo lists on paper for a long time. I date them, and make new ones, and eventually consolodate them, and make larger ones, and... it got to the point where I had entirely separate *sheets* for different aspects of my life, or subaspects, or... well, it was a bit much. It *is* a bit much. I wanted a nice hierarchical, searchable, yadda yadda yadda todo list. And I couldn't find anything that quite suited me. So I did the stupid thing and wrote it all from scratch (well, more from discarded and less-than-discarded bits of other projects. So it really didn't take that much.
I know some people are big on hating the word "todo", because it's supposed to be "to-do", or even "to do". I don't care.
What you can see is a first draft. It will be added to. It may be changed. I'll do my best to keep your data stable, but I make no promises.
Skwerms is for people with things to do, things that make you squirm to think about (or at least think about organizing). So put in your todo lists and get your skwerms on. (skwerms.org is not responsible, period, so don't even ask!)
